Running My "Socks" Off!

Yes, the question of the day is...what running socks should I get?
I have never purchased true running socks since I started running.  I have always worn my Under Armour socks that I purchased about 2 years ago.  They work fine, but I know I need to invest in some really good running socks, and I just don't know what to go with???
There have been tons of review/giveaways of running socks going around in bloggy world, and I have entered into all of the contests, but have never won any.  So, I am a "virgin" running sock wearer!
Please let me know what running socks your wear/prefer.  I need to get some soon, and I need YOUR help!

Happy Running Wednesday!
XOXO
Stephanie

I use feetures and love them. They are light weight and keep my feet dry!

Geez, I have so many, but anything thin and wicking works well. Plus, for me they need to be comfortable around the ankles, tend to blister. Came over from tall mom - so cool you are doing Chicago!

My husband and I both use Balega socks. They are super comfy, fit really well, and they have held up well wash after wash. I also love the fact that they are low-rise but don't scrunch down into my shoe.

I like anything thin, but not too tight. If I was going to go w/ compression I'd use the longer socks. I have good pairs from Pearl Izumi and Sugoi.

I'm fiercely loyal to my old school thorlo's. ;)

I like my Balega Hidden Comfort socks. They have a lip in the back that coome up high and covers you heel really well. I don't get blisters if I wear them.

My favorites came from Marshall's, and were $5 for two pairs. Champion brand, I believe? But they're amazing...leave my feet feeling fresh and they're so comfy to slip my feet into. That and I've never gotten a blister with them!

Just goes to show that brand and price aren't everything :]

I recently purchased some UA running socks and some Addidas thin running socks from dick's sporting goods. I too am on the search for the perfect running sock! Good Luck!!

My favorite running socks are by Asics. They are thin enough but have a little cushioning, wicking so my feet stay dry. I buy them 3 to a pack at my local running store for about $13. Love them!

I hope you find socks you love!

THe only ones I have run in so far are Cool Max socks from Sof Sole and I have loved them.

I just purchased some Feetures and Thorlo socks to give them a try and I can come back and let you know once I get a chance to run in them (they just came via fed ex today!)

I'm with "busyrunningmama" Thorlo Experia are the BEST!! They are all I can wear now. About 13.95 a pair, they have them at Dick's, and I have also gotten them on Amazon.com. They are well worth it! They hold up very well too!!

I never head out the door without my Injinji toe socks. LOVE them. Never a blister and you can't even feel the toe compartments once you have your shoes on. Plus, you get really strange looks in the locker room when you take off your shoes :)

I do not do "true" running socks either. I just get the Champion brand at Target.

I recently got some bamboo socks by Asics and I LOVE LOVE LOVE them! They are by far the best socks I've ever run in and I've run in billions!

Steph, I LOVE my asics socks...a lot. I have used Thorlos for years, but the Asics are preferable to me b/c they don't have all the bulk that Asics have. They would go perfect w/ your new Asics PINK shoes!!
