Luck of the Irish...What to wear?

Well, on Saturday March 13th I will be running the St. Louis Annual St. Patty's Day 5 Mile Run in downtown St. Louis. I have heard it is a really fun race, and they have a St. Patrick's Day Parade afterwards. My friend Sarah will be running it with me, along with a few of our friends. My husband and son will be there to cheer me on and possibly my parents and sister.

My dilemma comes in here...WHAT SHOULD I WEAR???

Of course, I have to wear green...that's a no brainer, but I would like to do something fun, but cute! Does anyone have any suggestions or experience running a St. Patty's Day race and can give me some good ideas?

I like to do fun things, but I like to keep them cute...See pic above (tutu's and cheetah outfits!!!)

Run with ya soon,

Stephanie

How about a green tutu? That seems to be the rage and fun races these days.

I was thinking the same thing Lisa said: A green tutu.

I have seen green afros and green and white striped hats at races before.

I'm also running a race on the 13th. I haven't put much thought into what I'm gonna wear but it's coming up soon. We're in MN-temps will be in the 30's. Not sure I could pull off a tutu!! I'm less concerned about what I'm gonna wear and more concerned about the free Finnegan's they're handing out at the finish line..lol!!!

Love the pictures!!

I'm all about the tutu!! With some really cool leggings or something.
Green bondi band?
Or black leggings with shamrocks attached to each cheek. :)

Green leggings? Green nail polish... and a huge green hat! haha.
I'm looking for a St. Pattys day race too. I'm not a big fan of 5ks but I wanna join the fun! :)
